the need to create, express, nurture and treasure.
“I soon learned the poetry of photography.”
I have always taken pictures, I loved being able to visually keep memories. Without intention taking pictures became the way I kept a diary. I soon learned the poetry of photography, how to create a mood, an atmosphere, to give an image emotion that was free to be interpreted in different ways. I love that a photo today is history tomorrow, that what is ordinary right now will seem dated to my children as adults. Taking photos is my historical record, a place to reference the changes through time, that I hope will keep giving well into the future.
